Founded by Ruth Essel, Pointe Black is a Black owned ballet school based in south London. In honour of Black History Month, Pointe Black used ballet to celebrate the journey of the Windrush generation - who travelled from the Caribbean to the UK to help rebuild Britain after the Second World War.
